“Why is the sample diluent different from the mobile phase composition?”
- “We evaluated several diluent compositions during method development.”
- “The sample showed limited solubility in the original diluent.”
- “Adding a small amount of water significantly improved sample solubility.”
- “We also evaluated the impact of the diluent on peak shape.”
- “A stronger diluent can potentially cause peak distortion.”
- “The revised diluent provided better sample solubility without compromising chromatographic performance.”
- “No significant fronting or peak broadening was observed.”
- “We’re confirming the reproducibility of the sample preparation.”
- “Based on these results, we selected the revised composition as the sample diluent.”
The sample showed limited solubility in the original diluent.
The sample doesn’t dissolve well.
We introduced a higher proportion of water to improve sample dissolution.
We also evaluated whether the difference between the diluent and the mobile phase affected the chromatography.
The diluent has a higher elution strength than the initial mobile phase.
A stronger diluent can potentially cause peak distortion, so we evaluated peak shape and resolution under the revised conditions.
No significant fronting or peak broadening was observed.
“Why is the sample diluent different from the mobile phase composition?”
“We evaluated several diluent compositions during method development. The sample had limited solubility when we used a composition similar to the mobile phase, so we introduced a higher proportion of water to improve sample dissolution. At the same time, we evaluated whether the difference between the diluent and mobile phase affected the chromatography. Under the revised conditions, the sample was completely dissolved, and we did not observe any significant peak distortion or loss of resolution. Based on the current results, the revised diluent provides an appropriate balance between sample solubility and chromatographic performance.”
We observed a higher and more consistent response after increasing the water content.
the area became bigger보다 higher peak area, increased response, more consistent response가 analytical discussion에 자연스럽습니다.
We’re confirming the reproducibility of the sample preparation.
-
❌ “The sample doesn’t dissolve well.”
✅ “The sample showed limited solubility in the original diluent.”limited solubility는 sample behavior를 더 정확하고 차분하게 설명합니다. -
❌ “We added water because area became bigger.”
✅ “We observed a higher and more consistent response after increasing the water content.”peak area와 response의 변화, 그리고 consistency를 구분해서 말해보세요.
-
❌ “The diluent is stronger than mobile phase.”
✅ “The diluent has a higher elution strength than the initial mobile phase.”chromatographic solvent strength
❌ “We checked if the peak shape changes.”
✅ “We evaluated whether the diluent composition affected the peak shape.”
evaluated whether X affected Y구조를 활용하세요.
“The revised diluent provided sufficient sample solubility without adversely affecting peak shape, resolution, or overall chromatographic performance.”
“The sample showed limited solubility in the original diluent, so we evaluated a revised composition with a higher proportion of water. We also confirmed that the revised diluent did not cause significant peak distortion or loss of resolution. We selected it because it provided an appropriate balance between sample solubility and chromatographic performance.”
“We selected the diluent based not only on sample solubility, but also on its compatibility with the chromatographic conditions.”
